We're looking for a Marketing Director (Volunteer)!
Founded in 2023 by first-generation immigrant artists, Cellunova is a New York based interdisciplinary non-profit production company aiming to create experiences that expand the boundaries of theater.
We are currently seeking a social media savvy marketing volunteer who can take our online presence to the next level. In this role, you will lead our social media direction to increase followers on our existing platforms (Instagram and WeChat) and explore new ways to engage audiences. The ideal candidates are motivated, creative, collaborative, versatile, and share our love of theater and the community we are building.
Duties will include:
Developing the marketing strategy for our organization as well as a variety of future events, creating digital content to maintain an active presence on social media platforms.
Leading the design of marketing assets and the execution of integrated social media campaigns by working closely with visual designers on the team.
Drafting and distributing marketing content such as blogs, articles, videos, photography, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
Leading outreach opportunities with media press, collaborators, fundraisers, theater community, etc.
Managing the newsletter content and promotion emails during the show season.
Attending monthly team meetings to stay current on the activities and goals of our organization.
Keeping and constantly improving all best practices in the promotion of a non-profit art institution.
Expertise in the following is preferred:
Digital marketing experience
Communications and writing skills
Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in Mandarin is optional
